El evento, realizado en el Innovation Campus del parque tecnol\u00f3gico del LATU, reuni\u00f3 a importantes representantes del sector; para discutir las oportunidades y desaf\u00edos del ecosistema uruguayo de inversiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El 2023 fue un a\u00f1o complicado para la actividad de M&amp;A a nivel global y regional debido a la desaceleraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, alta inflaci\u00f3n y elevadas tasas de inter\u00e9s. No obstante, Uruguay mantuvo un desempe\u00f1o estable con 20 transacciones; cifra similar a la del a\u00f1o anterior. De estas, 16 correspondieron al sector de comercio y servicios, incluyendo empresas de servicios globales, fintech, tecnolog\u00eda y comercio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mariana Ferreira y Alvaro Brunini de Uruguay XXI se\u00f1alaron que, a pesar de las dificultades, el pa\u00eds sigue viendo inversi\u00f3n y adquisiciones en empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas. Destacaron el desarrollo del fondo Lab+, una asociaci\u00f3n entre Ficus Capital y el Instituto Pasteur; que dinamizar\u00e1 la inversi\u00f3n en startups de biotecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los sectores de tecnolog\u00eda y consumo masivo han mostrado un notable dinamismo y se espera que sigan siendo motores de crecimiento en 2024. Empresas como Bankingly y Prometeo han captado inversiones internacionales; consolidando a Uruguay como un hub tecnol\u00f3gico regional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Principales inversores<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El informe resalta que los principales inversores provienen de Estados Unidos, M\u00e9xico, Brasil y Argentina; con un inter\u00e9s creciente en servicios globales, fintech y agroindustria. Estados Unidos lider\u00f3 adquisiciones en servicios globales y TI; mientras que Argentina y Brasil se enfocaron en la industria manufacturera y agroindustrial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La estabilidad econ\u00f3mica, pol\u00edtica y social de Uruguay, junto con la seguridad jur\u00eddica y los incentivos tributarios, siguen atrayendo a inversores extranjeros.
