El proyecto se extender\u00eda aproximadamente seis a\u00f1os; y afectar\u00eda directamente a unas 500 familias, unas 2.000 personas en total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con una extensi\u00f3n de 580 km\u00b2 que atraviesa tres provincias y 228 lugares poblados; el embalse abarca una vasta \u00e1rea territorial seg\u00fan la divisi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de Panam\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El fallo de la Corte Suprema revirti\u00f3 la Ley 20 de 2006, aumentando las responsabilidades del Canal conforme a la Ley 44 de 1999.
