Ubicado en el Parque Log\u00edstico LatAM, La Verbena, Alajuelita, San Jos\u00e9. El centro adem\u00e1s cuenta con 8.600 metros cuadrados y m\u00e1s de 11.000 posiciones en palet. Este almacena papel higi\u00e9nico, toallitas h\u00famedas, toallas femeninas, toallas de papel, servilletas y productos de Kimberly-Clark Professional\u2122; incluyendo toallas de manos, jab\u00f3n y pa\u00f1os industriales Wypall\u00ae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roberto Chaves, gerente de Log\u00edstica para Kimberly-Clark Latinoam\u00e9rica Norte, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la inversi\u00f3n para este centro fue de US$5 millones; demostrando el compromiso de la empresa con el desarrollo del pa\u00eds. Desde el hub, se despachar\u00e1n anualmente 2.5 millones de cajas de productos hacia Centroam\u00e9rica y Panam\u00e1 v\u00eda terrestre, y al Caribe v\u00eda mar\u00edtima. Chaves destac\u00f3 que la ubicaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica del centro permitir\u00e1 un ahorro del 50% en tiempo de traslado de productos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El centro tambi\u00e9n almacenar\u00e1 y transportar\u00e1 productos importados de pa\u00edses como Colombia, China, Per\u00fa, Argentina, M\u00e9xico, Estados Unidos, Brasil y otros; comercializ\u00e1ndolos en Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribe bajo las marcas Scott\u00ae, Huggies\u00ae, Kotex\u00ae, Kleenex\u00ae y Plenitud\u00ae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juan Felipe Isaza, vicepresidente de Kimberly-Clark para Latinoam\u00e9rica Norte, expres\u00f3 su satisfacci\u00f3n con la apertura del nuevo Hub Log\u00edstico; destacando que coincide con los 60 a\u00f1os de presencia en Costa Rica.
