En mayo de 2024, se produjeron 365,574 veh\u00edculos ligeros; lo que representa un aumento del 4.93% en comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo mes del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, en mayo, la industria automotriz export\u00f3 310,655 veh\u00edculos ligeros; marcando una variaci\u00f3n positiva del 12.98% respecto al mismo periodo de 2023. Estas cifras indican un desempe\u00f1o robusto en los primeros cinco meses del a\u00f1o; con la producci\u00f3n total alcanzando 1,651,930 veh\u00edculos ligeros, un incremento del 5.03% en comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior. Los segmentos de camiones ligeros, incluyendo SUVs, Pick Ups y minivans; representaron el 75.2% de esta producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a las exportaciones anuales, hasta la fecha se han exportado 1,426,110 unidades; lo que supone una variaci\u00f3n positiva del 12.3% respecto al mismo periodo de 2023. Odracir Barquera, director de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de la Industria Automotriz (AMIA), explic\u00f3 que Estados Unidos es el principal destino de exportaci\u00f3n. \u00abEl 17% de los veh\u00edculos exportados a Estados Unidos son mexicanos. Somos el pa\u00eds que m\u00e1s veh\u00edculos le provee al vecino del norte\u00bb, indic\u00f3 Barquera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el sector de autopartes, de enero a marzo de 2024, hubo un incremento del 8% comparado al mismo trimestre del a\u00f1o anterior.
