El pa\u00eds experiment\u00f3 un notable crecimiento en este sector. Con un total de 41 empresas dedicadas a la exportaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda; en comparaci\u00f3n con las 22 que exist\u00edan en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Douglas Rodr\u00edguez, presidente del BCR, resalt\u00f3 que el 64.2 por ciento de la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica en El Salvador se realiza a trav\u00e9s de fuentes renovables; destacando especialmente las t\u00e9rmicas, e\u00f3licas e hidroel\u00e9ctricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el per\u00edodo comprendido entre 2019 y 2023, El Salvador vendi\u00f3 un total de 139.5 millones de d\u00f3lares en energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica al MER.
