Montaine ha hecho historia al atracar en el Puerto de Paranagu\u00e1; obteniendo el t\u00edtulo de buque de mayor capacidad recibido en los puertos de Paran\u00e1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con impresionantes dimensiones de 366 metros de eslora y 51 metros de manga, el barco supera a sus predecesores MSC Elisa XIII y MSC Natasha XIII; recibidos a principios de este a\u00f1o, ambos con una longitud de 366 metros y un ancho de 48,20 metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El MSC C. Montaine tiene una capacidad excepcional de hasta 15.413 TEU, un aumento del 6,7% en comparaci\u00f3n con los buques MSC Elisa XIII y MSC Natasha XIII; que tienen una capacidad de carga de 14.432 TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel Vieira, director de Operaciones de Portos do Paran\u00e1, destac\u00f3 la importancia de este logro; se\u00f1alando que el Puerto de Paranagu\u00e1 fue el primero en Brasil en recibir autorizaci\u00f3n oficial para operar un barco de este tama\u00f1o, as\u00ed como los primeros en operar buques New Panamax. Vieira subray\u00f3 la calidad de la infraestructura y la seguridad operativa del puerto; que permiten recibir peri\u00f3dicamente estos nuevos buques, demostrando la capacidad y confiabilidad de la terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para dar cabida a estos megabuques, Portos do Paran\u00e1 est\u00e1 invirtiendo en obras de demolici\u00f3n y servicios de dragado para aumentar la profundidad del canal.
