En el evento anual de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Marina Mercante del Pac\u00edfico, Seroka destac\u00f3 el papel conjunto de ambos puertos; convirtiendo la Bah\u00eda de San Pedro en la puerta de entrada m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seroka inform\u00f3 que desde la segunda mitad de 2023, el Puerto de Los \u00c1ngeles ha experimentado un flujo de contenedores positivo; con cinco meses consecutivos de crecimiento interanual. Aunque el volumen total en 2023 fue de m\u00e1s de 8.6 millones de veinte pies equivalentes (TEU) lo que representa una ca\u00edda del 13% en comparaci\u00f3n con 2022; Seroka destac\u00f3 la espectacular recuperaci\u00f3n desde la disminuci\u00f3n inicial del 30% despu\u00e9s del primer trimestre del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a las importaciones, se manejaron aproximadamente 4.5 millones de TEU; un 10% menos que en 2022. Mientras que las exportaciones experimentaron el mayor volumen desde 2020; con un aumento del 7% interanual. Seroka expres\u00f3 optimismo sobre el futuro del puerto, destacando inversiones en infraestructura; como la expansi\u00f3n del corredor ferroviario del Muelle 400 y mejoras en la Instalaci\u00f3n de Apoyo Mar\u00edtimo de Terminal Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El director ejecutivo tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 avances tecnol\u00f3gicos para mejorar operaciones; mencionando el Port Optimizer y el Cyber Resilience Center.
