Se prev\u00e9 la construcci\u00f3n de hoteles de cadenas internacionales y se enfatiza la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente; excluyendo zonas como Bah\u00eda de las \u00c1guilas del desarrollo urbano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abinader destac\u00f3 el potencial econ\u00f3mico y social de la regi\u00f3n, proyectando un cambio significativo en los pr\u00f3ximos veinte a\u00f1os. El Puerto de Cabo Rojo  es administrado conjuntamente por la Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana y ITM Group; y aspira a recibir m\u00e1s de 1 mill\u00f3n de pasajeros al a\u00f1o a mediano plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ministro de Turismo, David Collado, resalt\u00f3 la recuperaci\u00f3n del turismo de cruceros en el pa\u00eds post-pandemia; consolidando a Rep\u00fablica Dominicana como l\u00edder regional en este segmento.
