El CEO de DP World, Nicolas Gauthier, revel\u00f3 que recientemente se finaliz\u00f3 una obra en la entrada del puerto; destinada a mejorar el acceso de los camiones y aumentar la capacidad de carga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En agosto de este a\u00f1o, Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos (TPE), una empresa conjunta formada por DP World (50%) y Yilport (50%), anunci\u00f3 la adquisici\u00f3n de nuevas gr\u00faas; las cuales han incrementado la capacidad del muelle de contenedores. Gauthier se\u00f1al\u00f3 que estas inversiones han permitido un aumento del 50% en la capacidad del puerto; especialmente en el muelle espig\u00f3n para la carga suelta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como resultado de estas mejoras, el Puerto de Paita comenz\u00f3 a presenciar importaciones directas.
