El conflicto se centra en una deuda de aproximadamente 17 millones de d\u00f3lares que Amaszonas habr\u00eda acumulado por el alquiler de estas aeronaves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de que un tribunal boliviano orden\u00f3 a la Administraci\u00f3n de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil restablecer las matr\u00edculas de los aviones; esta entidad se ha negado a hacerlo. Como resultado, Amaszonas se ha visto obligada a suspender sus operaciones de manera indefinida; lo que podr\u00eda marcar el fin de la aerol\u00ednea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La aerol\u00ednea es propiedad de un empresario brasile\u00f1o; y ha acusado al Gobierno boliviano de actuar de manera ilegal en su contra. Tanto el propietario como el director general de Amaszonas han anunciado su intenci\u00f3n de presentar demandas ante tribunales internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta disputa se produce en un contexto de dificultades financieras generalizadas en la industria de la aviaci\u00f3n en Am\u00e9rica Latina; debido a la pandemia y la falta de apoyo gubernamental. Grandes compa\u00f1\u00edas como Latam y Avianca han presentado suspensiones de pagos; aunque contin\u00faan operando mientras reorganizan sus finanzas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n de la Aviaci\u00f3n Civil de retirar las matr\u00edculas de aviones por deudas es inusual pero aparentemente legal. Sin embargo, la negativa del Gobierno a cumplir con la orden judicial de permitir que Amaszonas contin\u00fae operando ha generado controversia y ha llevado a acusaciones de favoritismo hacia la aerol\u00ednea estatal Boliviana de Aviaci\u00f3n.
