Carlos Vel\u00e1zquez Tiscare\u00f1o, director del AICM, confirm\u00f3 que este plazo se mantendr\u00e1 sin pr\u00f3rrogas; despu\u00e9s de haber otorgado ocho semanas adicionales para que las aerol\u00edneas de carga se prepararan para la mudanza. Seg\u00fan Vel\u00e1zquez, a partir de esta fecha, solo las aerol\u00edneas de pasajeros y carga podr\u00e1n operar en el AICM; mientras que las dem\u00e1s se trasladar\u00e1n al Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe \u00c1ngeles (AIFA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gobierno federal tom\u00f3 esta medida el 2 de febrero; originalmente estableciendo el 7 de junio como fecha l\u00edmite. No obstante, se concedi\u00f3 una extensi\u00f3n hasta el 1 de septiembre. Se argumenta que esta reubicaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 liberar espacio y optimizar la circulaci\u00f3n vehicular en el \u00e1rea de carga del AICM. A pesar de las preocupaciones planteadas por algunas aerol\u00edneas; se sostiene que los horarios de operaciones disponibles en el AICM no son saturados y podr\u00e1n ser utilizados por las compa\u00f1\u00edas que as\u00ed lo requieran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe mencionar que las operaciones de carga apenas representan el 3% del total de operaciones diarias en el AICM; seg\u00fan datos de la C\u00e1mara Nacional de Aerotransportes (Canaero).
