El SAF es un tipo de combustible de aviaci\u00f3n que se obtiene a partir de fuentes renovables como residuos, grasas y aceites, entre otros; lo que resulta en un combustible con bajas emisiones de CO2 cuando se mezcla con el combustible convencional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andr\u00e9s Bianchi, CEO de <a href=\"https:\/\/todologisticanews.com\/site\/latam-cargo-movilizo-casi-20-mil-tons-de-flores\/\">Latam Cargo<\/a>; destac\u00f3 que esta iniciativa marca otro hito en los esfuerzos del grupo Latam contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<em> <\/em>Queremos hacer un aporte significativo al desarrollo sostenible de la regi\u00f3n; y para ello nos hemos comprometido, entre otras cosas, a ser carbono neutrales en 2050. Esta compra est\u00e1 alineada con eso ya que nos permite seguir avanzando en nuestra agenda de SAF; siendo adem\u00e1s, un reflejo de la importancia que tiene la colaboraci\u00f3n a lo largo de toda la cadena log\u00edstica para conseguir grandes cambios. En esa l\u00ednea, esperamos que ejemplos como este ayuden a capitalizar el potencial de Sudam\u00e9rica en la generaci\u00f3n de SAF<em>\u201d<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es importante destacar que el SAF adquirido en esta ocasi\u00f3n se produjo a partir de aceite de cocina usado; que luego se mezcl\u00f3 con combustible de avi\u00f3n convencional.
