Seg\u00fan Fernando Dragonn\u00e9 de la Parra, country manager de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cathaycargo.com\/en-us\/home.html\">compa\u00f1\u00eda<\/a> en M\u00e9xico; el AIFA es la mejor opci\u00f3n ya que les da entrada a la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y est\u00e1 cerca de los centros de distribuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La aerol\u00ednea ya cuenta con almac\u00e9n y contratos firmados con sus proveedores; y solo falta terminar el proceso con las autoridades del aeropuerto. Dragonn\u00e9 se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el AIFA tiene mejor \u00e1rea de carga que el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico (AICM). Adem\u00e1s, la altura de Toluca restringe el peso del vuelo, mientras que otros aeropuertos del Sistema Metropolitano presentan otras limitaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cathay Pacific Cargo transporta semanalmente 700 toneladas de importaciones y 650 toneladas de exportaciones a trav\u00e9s de siete vuelos semanales. La carga procedente de M\u00e9xico solo se aceptar\u00e1 en el AIFA una vez que entre en funcionamiento; pero la carga que llegue de Sudam\u00e9rica en los aviones de pasajeros al AICM se transportar\u00e1en camiones entre aeropuertos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n de Cathay Pacific Cargo se produjo luego que el gobierno pusiera fin a la carga dedicada en el AICM a trav\u00e9s de un decreto; con el objetivo de disminuir la saturaci\u00f3n de esta terminal.
