M\u00e1s de quince oradores hicieron conocer sus propuestas de futuro. Entre los asistentes estuvieron presentes V\u00edctor Cardona de Soriano y Delia Villalba de Fray Bentos.<br \/>La candidata de Asamblea Popular a las elecciones municipales de Soriano, fue la primera uruguaya que \u00abcruz\u00f3\u00bb el r\u00edo para sensibilizar a Gualeguaych\u00fa, sobre la llegada de los emprendimientos de ENCE y Botnia a Fray Bentos.<br \/>\u00abNo se como ni de que forma, pero les pido que sigan luchando\u00bb dijo Villalba a los presentes y agreg\u00f3 que a pesar de que en Uruguay \u00abse dice que el corte no afecta a Botnia, si que lo hace, porque a nivel mundial no existe una multinacional que tenga la resistencia de todo un pueblo como en este caso\u00bb.<br \/>Poco despu\u00e9s, la asamblea aprob\u00f3 por amplia mayor\u00eda la iniciativa de Juan Carlos Barrios, que propuso seguir la lucha en los t\u00e9rminos actuales, lo que implic\u00f3 desestimar incluso el planteo de un joven que quer\u00eda flexibilizar el corte para el tr\u00e1nsito de autom\u00f3viles durante los fines de semana.<br \/>\u00abEl corte continuar\u00e1 porque es la medida de acci\u00f3n que mas efectos produce.
