Adem\u00e1s se conoci\u00f3 que con el grupo de turismo de Cuba Gaviota como receptivo, el vuelo de la Swoop Airlines toc\u00f3 tierra matancera sobre las 12:30, hora local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, Yamir Miyares, jefe de la unidad de operaciones en tierra del aeropuerto Juan Gualberto G\u00f3mez; Swoop Airlines tendr\u00e1 una frecuencia de tres viajes semanales distribuidos en lunes, mi\u00e9rcoles y viernes con procedencia Toronto y destino Varadero;  en aviones Boeing 737-800 capaces de transportar hasta 189 pasajeros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otra parte, Miyares refiri\u00f3 que el aer\u00f3dromo en la actualidad acoge entre 100 y 103 operaciones semanales con  vuelos procedentes de Reino Unido, Rusia, Alemania y B\u00e9lgica;  en evidencia de una franca recuperaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica tras los efectos de la covid-19 en 2020 y 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swoop es una aerol\u00ednea canadiense de ultra bajo costo (UBC), operada por WestJet. Fue oficialmente anunciada el 27 de septiembre de 2017 y comenz\u00f3 operaciones el 20 de junio de 2018.
