El puerto crece de forma significativa con un programa que mejora de los canales y la inversi\u00f3n en infraestructuras terrestres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe destacar, que los vol\u00famenes de contenedores crecieron un r\u00e9cord del 15% en 2021, interanual  y debido a eso, el puerto de Houston pidi\u00f3 26 RTGs h\u00edbridas de Konecranes para reforzar su flota actual de RTG de Konecranes en sus terminales de contenedores de Barbours Cut y Bayport. En ambas terminales, la flota actual consta de 90 RTGs Konecranes di\u00e9sel y 26 RTG Konecranes h\u00edbridas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las gr\u00faas tienen tecnolog\u00eda de iones de litio y un sistema de gesti\u00f3n de bater\u00edas que controla el nivel de carga y su estado general. Konecranes puede supervisar el estado de este sistema a trav\u00e9s de la conexi\u00f3n remota TRUCONNECT\u00ae. El sistema de energ\u00eda h\u00edbrido es completamente modular y se puede reequipar.
