Adem\u00e1s de incorporar espacios e instalaciones que la consolidan como la principal del pa\u00eds y una de las m\u00e1s modernas de la regi\u00f3n centroamericana.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a una inversi\u00f3n de $100 millones, Tocumen S.A., sociedad que administra la terminal aeroportuaria, increment\u00f3 en 2,565 metros la zona de comercio internacional y la transform\u00f3 en un \u00e1rea con el nivel y los est\u00e1ndares internacionales, que solo se encuentran en los principales aeropuertos del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Pablo Thayer, gerente comercial del Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, manifest\u00f3 que se ha equipado, amueblado y distribuido los nuevos espacios del Muelle Norte, pensando en la comodidad del viajero, seg\u00fan sus necesidades, bas\u00e1ndose en un dise\u00f1o funcional y criterios de confort, accesibilidad y econom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo al departamento de estad\u00edsticas del Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen, en 2011, entre pasajeros en tr\u00e1nsito y de ingreso al pa\u00eds se movilizaron 5.8 millones, cantidad que ascendi\u00f3 en 2012 a 6.8 millones de viajeros.<\/p>\n<p>El promedio de gasto por viajero es de $53.<\/p>\n<p>Fuente: Panam\u00e1 Am\u00e9rica<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> <p>Hace tres a\u00f1os circulaban diariamente por los pasillos del Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen aproximadamente 10 mil viajeros, mientras que hoy se movilizan m\u00e1s de 19 mil pasajeros.
