Deste total, US$ 8,5 milh\u00f5es foram de encargos n\u00e3o-monet\u00e1rios (non-cash charges) relacionados \u00e0 venda de uma embarca\u00e7\u00e3o antiga, e de remunera\u00e7\u00e3o em a\u00e7\u00f5es concedidas aos empregados.<\/p>\n<p>Por\u00e9m, a perda l\u00edquida registrada no per\u00edodo apresentou uma melhoria em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao d\u00e9ficit de US$ 16,9 milh\u00f5es no mesmo intervalo do ano anterior. A frota de 50 embarca\u00e7\u00f5es multiprop\u00f3sito do armador &#8211; dividida igualmente entre graneleiros handysizes e tweendeckers &#8211; computou m\u00e9dia de lucro di\u00e1ria de US$ 18.532, em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos US$ 9.642 anteriores.<\/p>\n<p>A taxa de frete m\u00e9dia para todas as cargas subiu para US$ 29,76 por tonelada durante o segundo trimestre, comparado aos US$ 24,40 do ano passado. A receita geral da compania computou US$ 111,2 milh\u00f5es, sendo que no trimestre anterior, o total foi de US$ 72,2 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Apesar das melhorias apresentadas, o CEO da TBS, Joseph Royce, afirmou que os desenvolvimentos no mercado de granel pressionaram o desempenho da empresa.
